This post presents several upgrades to the Leica MPi, a Leica M2 with a Raspberry Pi-powered digital back. The most notable upgrade is a larger sensor capable of capturing daylight photos in color. Other upgrades include an internal battery and support for external accessories like a flash. To enable collaboration and replication, I am open-sourcing instructions for the hardware and software through the project's repository. To open support for project, I am also releasing a zine of work from the camera.
