A Potted History of Jesus Christ (Or, What the Church Doesn't Want You to Know) (enclydion.blogspot.com)

Fairy tale pretending at secret history.

The Holy Roman Empire dates to around 800 AD, when Charlemagne became the first Holy Roman Emperor. The Holy Roman Empire describes territory in modern France and Germany, not in Judea. Nothing to do with the Roman Empire at the time Jesus supposedly lived.

Semitic people include Jews and Arabs. Describing Jesus -- clearly a Jew -- as of Arabic descent gets it wrong.

Nothing in this story counts as "what the Church doesn't want you to know." It has about as much historical credibility as the New Testament stories -- close to none. These alternate interpretations of the life of Jesus have floated around for a long time, with no evidence.

It is fan fiction, but it's interesting none-the-less. I think he meant just "The Roman Empire" and maybe it's embrace of Christianity; not relating to the actual Holy Roman Empire that came far later?

I couldn't find Issua and Miryam anywhere else except this one post. I have a copy of the Nag Hammadi. There are some indications earlier texts show Jesus and Mary married. In the Gospel of Marry, she is highly esteemed to the Savior, and the apostles rebuke her apocalyptic visions. There are sections of that Gospel that are missing however.

It's an interesting take, and like you said, about as historical of the actual New Testament. It's still fun and gets you thinking, plus I love these ancient blog posts that are still around.

Thank you for this. I miss the old web, and these old blog posts from 2011. The world would be a richer place if we all read a few websites from the not-to-distant past.
