This is no great secret or revelation, Amazon's recruiters literally coach every candidate to use the STAR method.

And many interviewers will again repeat the advice/request to answer in STAR format.

I agree. The recruiter helped me prepare and also shared resources to read.

From the second paragraph on, it reads like a copy paste of one of the docs Amazon recruiters email out ahead of the interview.

In Every amazon position, you will see the star method being mentioned
