Show HN: Never Launch Without a Waitlist (waitlister.me)
3 points by ilpr 613 days ago
Hey!

I've recently launched Waitlister, an app for creating product launch waitlist in minutes (or seconds if you wish to).

Why you should build a waitlist before you launch your product? Because,

- it'll help you validate your idea before spending too much time on building, - get first users that will potentially convert/sign up as soon as you launch, - and you can generate more buzz for your launch than you could without one.

How does Waitlister help you with this? With it, you can:

- create a hosted landing page, - create an embeddable waitlist form, - send automatic welcome emails, - send email broadcasts to keep subscribers engaged/updated, - incentivize virality with referrals, - and more...

Hope you'll find it useful.

So many of these exist already (launchlist, getwaitlist, kickofflabs, launchpage, waitforit, etc.), what makes yours different?
If your product has a wait list it's a pretty good sign the developer is more concerned with hype than a good product, and I'll deliberately ignore it going forward.
