As someone who works in an office alongside Japanese illustrators and graphic designers, I would like to know where the manga-style training data came from, and what is being done to ensure that the artists are fairly compensated?

The biggest problem we’re tackling is that the majority of stories don’t get told. Let’s take comics for example. As a creator, you either have to: have significant money, a specialized skillset (e.g. writing, illustrating), time + energy, or connections. Usually all four.
Lumi unlocks all of these. Now, everyone has access and opportunity to tell their stories.
Beyond this, creators finally have a one-stop shop to publish and monetize without sacrificing major creative control and rev-share.
