I've been looking at how we can track poker cards and add them as an overlay over our video. Showing cards is great but we don't get the actions - Player A raised by 50
- Player B re-raised by 150 For now, we need to add all this information manually which could take up to hours for each stream. Because of that, I've been building a concept for how we can track actions at the poker table automatically without the need for manual work, it will require readers that are far more expensive than the current ones from Eccel but the return on investment will be far bigger since we are saving 10's or 100's of hours per table per month from manually adding all the data. How can we track bets? - Each player will have an antenna below their chip stacks
- With it, we will know what is the current total stack
- If a player had 80 chips before and 60 now that means that they placed a bet of 20
- From there we can connect the dots and display what was the bet made by each player What will we need as hardware? - RFID-enabled poker chips - x200
- Fixed RFID Reader
- Antenna for each player + 1 Antenna for dealer cards |
