Please stop spamming. You’ve created this account solely to promote your bookmark product - which has a new domain name today - and this behavior is frowned upon. Your last post was egregious self promotion.
Hi threecheese,

I apologize if my posts came across as spam. I'm genuinely passionate about this project and wanted to share it with the community to get valuable feedback and improve it. I'll be more mindful of how I promote it going forward. Thank you for your feedback

After struggling with countless open tabs and disorganized bookmarks, I created a tool to make life easier. Our platform allows you to save, tag, search, and organize your bookmarks seamlessly. I'm eager to improve it based on community feedback. If you are willing to try it out comment "Bingo" and I'll reach out to you. Thank you
Okay, I have exactly the problem your tool seems to address and for that reason i'd love to try it, but one's bookmarks are a remarkably intimate view into their interests, worries and problems. Thus, one main question: how is it on privacy? Who can or will be able to see my bookmarks and do you now, or will you be handing off data on users to third parties for "engagement" and "optimization" and blah blah?

Edit: Also, how exportable are my newly organized bookmarks?

Seriously, there's no information on how it works, who hosts it, how long it will last, or anything. Not even a contact link. I can't invest any amount of time in something like this no matter how nice it looks.
Hi Saulpw,

I apologize for any confusion. We are a software company called Ampstem Technology. You can learn more about us at https://ampstem.com.

Our tool is hosted securely on our servers, and we are committed to its long-term support and development. Your bookmarks are stored locally on your device and saved as .json files, so they’re portable and easy to export.

Don't tell me here, put it on your website!
Thank you for your interest. In regards to privacy. Our mantra is offline first, privacy, data portability (you own your data), simplicity and ease of use. Data is stored locally in the browser (index DB) for the web version and nothing is being stored on the server as long as you use the free version, which would be completely free and would have acces to the all the features. The free versions currently allows you to export all your bookmarks as JSON (more on OTW), so there is no vendor lock-in from the get go. You do not need to give us any information to use the app
You should add "Show HN:" to the title.
Hi fsflover. I would definitely do that next time. Thanks
I don't see any browser extension. Is that in the pipe?
Hi Oliver. Yes an extension is currently in the works as we speak. Could I have your email so I could update you on our progress?
