Would you ever feel safe driving if you couldn't see the road? Likely a dangerous endeavor if you were on a busy road with real traffic, but what if the environment were purely virtual?
With a few minor adjustments, we've taken one of the demo levels for DRIVR and converted it so that vision isn't required in order to navigate the track. The vehicle is completely software controlled, so the player can be certain they won't be allowed to venture beyond the designed driving area. Totally immersive, thoroughly safe.
