I initially struggled to understand what your app actually does, but the description in your YouTube video made it perfectly clear:

"An immersive real-time conversation app with themed virtual venues, hosted by engaging AI characters designed to emulate real-world experiences."

I believe it would be beneficial to include a similar description on your landing page. This would help users immediately understand what your app offers and what they can expect from it.

First impression: I signed up and it looks like a text chatroom with a background image. Closed the window.

hate the fact that I have no idea what it is unless i sign up. maybe some demo / description of what it does would be useful to get users engaged.
