I reckon generics (and even the `any` type) have been out long enough that we shouldn't post Golang example snippets which use anonymous interfaces unless there's a really compelling reason specific to the problem at hand. (On phone otherwise I'd be actually helpful and post a gist)
Totally get that sometimes you want to keep an example as lean as possible, but counterpoint: when you create articles you never know who is going to use them to learn (and in this case learn bad habits)
Perhaps something we can collectively add to our software engineering equivalent of the Hippocratic Oath? :)
