Show HN: Dora AI Beta – the first end-to-end AI website tool (dora.run:443)
15 points by Eve_Mei 817 days ago
Unlike existing design tools which mainly swap AI assets into templates or pre-defined layouts, Dora AI sites are realized from beginning to end with AI — from composition to visual identity to content. That means one prompt can yield infinite unique results.

We just launched our first open beta for our AI feature. As we're still in beta, any feedback on our tool would be greatly appreciated!

It's a big turn off not to see any pricing info on the website. I don't want to register just to find out how much it costs.
Turns out when you register, you get 100 "credits", each prompt generates 4 landing pages, to preview the generated landing page will eat up 20 credits, not to worry you can invite a friend and get 200 additional credits..I kid you not!
Hi! Thank you for checking out Dora AI, as it is a feature based on our no-code editor Dora, you may find pricing info at https://dora.run/pricing.
Hi all!

Dora AI Beta can generate exclusive landing pages with natural language. Hosted within Dora's powerful no-code editor, you can generate design inspiration and deploy 3D animated sites faster than ever.

Welcome any feedback or questions!

I gave this a spin and asked Dora to generate for me a landing page for an event ticketing website. Totally understand this a beta product and may be I expected more, but what it generated wasn't very appealing, may be I need to provide more detailed description in the prompt. The mobile breakpoints are very confusing IMHO, even with the help page.
Hey, thank you for giving Dora AI Beta a spin!

For this open beta version, we think one of the key highlights is that existing AI website tools rely on predefined templates to swap generated copy and images. By contrast, each Dora AI site is realized from beginning to end with AI, from copy to composition to visual identity. No templates, no pre-defined layouts.

As a result, it exhibits a unique ability for emergent behavior and self-evolution. The more people use it, the better it gets.

For the mobile breakpoint, although constraints and other responsive practices have been applied, the mobile breakpoint is still in development so it can look pretty wonky on mobile at the moment. Please look forward to this improvement really soon!

Dora editor itself is a powerful no-code editor, you may check out more showcase and tutorial videos on YouTube to understand its power: https://www.youtube.com/@DoraTool

As far as I know, for Show HN you should be able to see a demo without having to log-in.

The demo on the hero section seems to require a login?

This is a fascinating product that I highly recommend trying out:

Highlight: 1. The attention to detail in its design is on par with Figma. 2. It offers a landing page design experience similar to Midjourney, with a high degree of freedom. Although the direct output still has some imperfections, I'm really excited about its future potential. 3. The presence of a Data Tab within the product caught my eye. I'm looking forward to how it might synergize with the Design aspect, potentially sparking some innovation.

Your bio says head of product at Dora. Why are you pretending like you just came across this?

Yes, as the Head of Product for Dora, the three points I shared truly reflect my thoughts during the creation of the no-code Platform Dora and Dora AI. For instance, the three tabs I mentioned will be expanded to include logic flows with visual programming in the future—we're experimenting with some really cool ideas.

I am incredibly excited and proud to be part of creating Dora, and I highly recommend you give it a try!

Feel free to offer any suggestions at any time. Dora is still in its early stages, and there's a lot more for us to do.

I think it would have been prudent to disclose in your comment that you're head of product for this tool, per your bio
Apologies for any confusion— I should have included a disclosure about my affiliation to help everyone evaluate.
This is pretty shady that this person didn’t disclose they were associated with the company in question.

Your comment reads as if you are a user, not an employee

Actually, I'm both an employee and a user; I use Dora myself.
A very cool website!
