We moved country 4 years ago and Stripe's customer service was easy to work with. They moved all customer accounts and subscriptions for us. I think it was copies but our customers didn't notice, all subscription payments kept working.
wow you were lucky. I asked and asked and asked for this, but they said they don't offer it. they can only transfer the customer accounts, not the subscriptions.
I thought this was crazy personally.

They also begin to restrict payouts when they realize your address data is not matched up correctly with the account (i.e. UK and UK).

I made a tool to fix this, making the migration process between an old Stripe account and a new account easy.
