Serving the site from the original onion address seems like a bad idea. It is teaching people to trust instructions from sites that say "THIS SITE IS NOW UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE.
UK, THE US AND THE CRONOS TASK FORCE" at the top, even if they have no other way to verify.
I think it would be a better idea to redirect to a government-controlled domain and highlight to users that they should check the domain to verify that they can trust the content.
With the current setup the next scammer will just copy that claim of government control to scam their victims further.
