| Hey HN, there are so many 10/10 ideas and people that never get into YC because of the sheer number of applicants. I know that and want to do something about it so I built Stride. We're a community of 650 (currently) founders building in a ton of different industries, sharing expertise and having weekly events with VC's, founders and angels. We're in the process of raising a seed round to build out a physical / virtual startup studio similar to YC's offer but for all the entrepreneurs that won't / don't get into YC. Let's talk about the SF move - YC is bringing back their need to be in SF to attend batches. Staying put in SF is a miss for YC. The world's changed - talent is everywhere now, global. But YC is sitting pretty as "Silicon Valley's most successful startup" and won't budge. I believe in this thesis and I put my money where my mouth is. I'll build YC for all those that didn't or won't get into YC. Stay tuned |
