This sounds like a very useful addition to Linux - https://dr.lib.iastate.edu/entities/publication/b6b6cb90-417...
Good news in light of many anti-farmer globalists' events.
More technology that I would never want in any of my farm machines. Seriously, screw every manufacturer that thinks this was a good idea.

Better yet, where are the engineers that signed up to build these systems that are outright hostile to all of the farmers that buy these machines? They owe us a damn good explanation.

EDIT: in the spirit of constructive positivity, many kudos to those people that implement these standards in open source. They are real heroes.

I believe the point of open source versions of proprietary technology is to relieve those who are stuck with junk software that ties them to their vendors and prevents true ownership. Like yourself it seems.
Calling many of the machines farm machines I'd like calling the space shuttle a plane.

Many modern farms are harvested, sowed, etc. automatically, by giant what are essentially robots.

This isn't going into a rake.
