Often in tech a significant portion of your comp will come from RSUs (restricted stock units). This means that as your company's stock moves, the income you can expect also changes.

I created this dashboard in Google Sheets to help make it easy to understand your total compensation. This is important to help plan your financial life.

Google employee's have an awesome internal tool that does this for them. Now the rest of us have access to the same understanding.
