This is frighteningly good. Not quiiiiiite good enough to pass for an actual video of the person - the audio's a bit off, the video is ever so slightly out of sync - but a few generations more and we'll be there.
I wonder if there's a "happy" (dare I use that term) sweet spot for deepfakes in our world -- they're just good enough to get you to chuckle ("Hi I'm Barack Obama and I'm wishing you, John Smith, a very happy birthday!") but not so good that anyone thinks it's actually him.
I think there is a pretty terrible bug. I just bought some credits to try it out but they are not showing up at all.
