Is this an email address harvesting scam?

There is no product here. The website is so generic and devoid of any detail that it can't be real. It's for foodies and costs "pending $".

Sorry to make you have such doubts. We don't have a product interface because we are still in the process of development, of course, if you would like to know more, I can send you the design drawings of the product individually. I've already had many users contact me and look at the design of the product individually, and they all think it's a very good product! The purpose of publicizing the product in advance is also because we are an independent developer, we can receive more feedback from users during the development process, which helps us to make a better product!
Waitlisted. Not yet released.

No screenshots. Or demo video.

Is it a local electron application or a web service? Does it have a brower extension or is it entirely a browser extension?

Does it have an export or import format?

If so, where is the format documented or at least where are examples?

Mark Kit is a web service, and the product will initially have a browser plug-in, as well as a full web manager page.

Import and export functionality is very important and is already in our development program. I want users to have the freedom to choose a better product service.

Hi,

I hope you're all doing well. As an independent developer, I've been working on creating a software tool to solve a problem I face personally. I really appreciate all the ideas and feedback you've shared in our community.

As someone who spends a lot of time browsing the internet, whether it's for work projects, finding new recipes, or staying up-to-date with the latest technology and media news, I often come across websites or content that I want to save for later reference.

However, traditional bookmarking and content clipping methods have their limitations. Long lists of bookmarks make it difficult to find what I need, and storing clipped pages takes up a lot of space in my notes.

That's why I've developed a tool called Mark Kit. Its purpose is to make it quick and easy for you to save website links or content. It's not just an advanced bookmark manager, but also your content organizer.

To make content retrieval even more convenient, I'm planning to incorporate AI technology for content recognition. This means that even if you can't remember the specific details, you'll be able to quickly find previously saved websites or content using vague text descriptions.

I'm really curious to know if any of you have similar needs or if you have any better suggestions and methods?

Mark Kit is currently in development, and I would like to invite you to join our waitlist. Once the product is ready for beta testing, I'll make sure to notify you.

You can find more information about Mark Kit here: https://markkit.in/

Thank you all for your support!

This looks great, bookmarking for later.
Thx!
I won't be signing up since there's no product here, right now. But I will say a few things:

- $0 plan limits to 100 bookmarks: at 100 bookmarks, your browser is good-enough. raindrop.io offers unlimited bookmarks for free. what they do with the Pro plan is offer value-add such as retaining a copy of your page, annotations, searching for duplicate and broken links, backups of your bookmarks, etc. I have no compelling reason to choose this over a competing service such as raindrop.

- Privacy policy is a bit strange. Give it a read.

- Finaly, what's the point of having a waitlist?

Apologies for the inconvenience. It seems that there is a caching issue on the website, causing delays in updates. After finalizing the initial version of the pricing strategy (which is the price you seen before), I reflected on whether I would personally use Mark Kit. The conclusion I reached is "NO!!". That the basic functionality should be available to all users free of charge. As for the premium features, their pricing has not been determined yet. This is partly because there might be additional costs associated with automated categorization and the use of AI. I will need to assess these costs and finalize the pricing as we approach the end of product development.
What differentiates this from Raindrop and Pocket?
Yes, I think the difference between Mark Kit and them is a more obvious distinction between bookmark and content.

For example. medium.com is a website, which I would categorize as a "bookmark", and "https://medium.com/generative-ai/the-3-chatgpt-prompts-every..." is an article content, which I would categorize as a "bookmark". ignoring-but-shouldn't-d7af5cc7aa7e" is an article, and "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOP9CZ1jc7Q" is a video. The problem Mark Kit solves is to automate the categorization of the user's favorite links as much as possible, and to do so in a more appropriate way. as much as possible and display them in a more appropriate way.

Those exist.
I've added screenshots of the software.

Thanks for the comments and feedback!
