Show HN: Mylens.ai – Create timeline for any topics with AI (mylens.ai)
22 points by ardeeshany 984 days ago
MyLens.AI is a free AI that generates a beautiful timeline of key events for any topic you're interested in, all with one click. It is great to combine multiple topics and view their overlapping events in one cohesive timeline. One Timeline, Many Histories.

Your feedback is much appreciated.

I really enjoyed playing with this topical timeline generator! Great user experience with showing the data points as they become available and then scrolling to the start. I also liked the side-scrolling with dates alternating above and below the timeline. I would really love to get source links for each entry (maybe inside a drawer to keep the clean design). This would help with fact-checking and encourage further exploration of the topic.
This is so cool! At the moment, as new points on the line load, they push the mobile viewport to the right of the timeline while I'm still trying to read the previous one. This requires waiting for the whole timeline to be created before being able to read the whole thing.
Really like this concept. Difficult to tell what key events are missing from timeline, unless you already know.
It'd be nice if there was some sense of scale between the points, looks like everything is equally spaced.
Very cool! Does it try to fit everything in one view, or was I just lucky?

Great little app! I typed in “Australian History” and was impressed with the resulting timeline.

Some feedback, the UI shifts as new items are added, which is a little annoying.

Maybe a vertical layout on mobile would be more appropriate, instead of side-scrolling…

Great job though, fantastic use of AI to provide value
