Surprised this is still a thing.

After the previous time this hit social media I would have expected someone within canonical to wake up and realise "we're getting some serious flak here - this might actually actively chase away the top candidates"

Well they had to put the people working on mir onto something!
In three decades of tech I have never interviewed for a single company more than four times, and four was a new record with my current post. Three was more typical.
