I'm quite surprised of what Postman and Insomnia did. They barely have any moat, they basically sell GUI and API for cURL.
I had been using Postman and got annoyed it, so I developed my own API exploration and testing tool for my use case. I also saw recently that there is a YC-backed Postman competitor, let alone a dozen of other open source alternatives.
