Hilariously, i was just commenting elsewhere not long ago how cool it would be to have glass circuit boards. Being able to see all the traces and such, would definitely make me feel like we are living in the future
Did you see the pilot/first episode for "The Expanse"? There's a cop/private detective type who had a phone that was a single sheet of transparent glass or plastic type material.
Its used heavily throughout the show, but yes. I sort of dont like that idea though, because itd be hard to see stuff pretty frequently. Also, there was no power source that was visible, which i never understood
