For many people, a voice coach helps one with pronunciation, dialects etc. The link doesn’t say explicitly, but I suspect it’s about a fitness coach that uses speech to text.
What makes this different than the Nike run app, that has voice coaching while you run? How does it understand the goals I have for a given run (e.g. recovery vs. tempo vs. endurance) or distance impacts? What kind of runner is this for? C25k, hobby joggers, Kipchoge?
Thanks for the great questions. We're still in the process of figuring this out. Right now as it stands alone, the voice coaching is similar to the Nike run app. I think there's an opportunity to improve that experience though. We're looking into generating training plans based on your run history. Ideally this would work for all kinds of runners.
What's your process for running like right now? Are you using any apps to keep track of workouts?
No - I mean, outlook/google calendars, but for training, I have a book and written plan, and I map runs for distance and to figure out tempo distances.
It’d be potentially neat to be able to tie the two together - mark points on a map where I want motivation, or whatever. Even voice prompts for speed work would be potentially nifty.
