Hey HN! Was frustrated by guilt over lost streaks and by a general lack of keyboard support in habit trackers. Wanted to fight discouragement. Started building my own habit tracker based on my best current understanding of human (and animal) productivity.

Came out the other side with something that works unreasonably well. Pressing my keyboard to mark a task as complete feels like I'm a dog getting a clicker click as a training reward. Turns out I'm doing operant conditioning on myself and have never been more productive. I can't say this approach is for everyone, but maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised.
