I came across the link below describing his feedback techniques with his microphone. Like it or leave it - major kudos to him building an entirely bespoke instrument ecosystem.

Still wrapping my head around this as as a bass player...

His cover of We Can Work It Out blew me away. Highly enjoyably to watch and listen.
