The one tweak is to

> additionally post the item’s true normal price (TNP). The TNP is the most frequently offered price for that product in a given period.

Example offered is pricing a sofa at $1,399 for first two weeks (of a quarter). No sales later, the price is reduced to $599 with a $800-off promotion for ten weeks. Going forward, the TNF becomes $599.

12 weeks is a quarter.
