Show HN: I made a search engine for emails and newsletters (emailhoneypot.com)
3 points by danest 1038 days ago
Hey, I'm Kevin,

I spent a few years in marketing (5+) and switched to software dev.

I spent a lot of time convincing brands to email more frequently and send coupons to fight the "our brand doesn't email" syndrome I saw.

So I built Email Honeypot for marketers and brand owners to see all the emails brands are sending out.

For instance, you can see a popular DTC brand like Casper emails almost once a day!

Would love to hear what you think about it.

Each page loads 40 megabyte of images, it's best to invest in an image resize service or software to create smaller size thumbnails.
I am currently using AWS S3 to host the images, and I noticed that the images are very big.

I am going to be looking into a resizing service this week.

Thank you for the feedback.

How are you tracking these emails? Do ppl submit them or you are actually subscribed to them?
Right now I subscribe to them which is very manual. I want to have a way for users to submit later on.
