If you're wondering why there are so many down votes (like I am), one possible explanation is that SE appears to be skipping their traditional area51 site vetting process...
Also because, as I understand it, quite a lot of moderators are currently on strike[0] due to Stack Exchange allowing AI-generated content on the platform.
The complaints are mostly that this makes it substantially harder to moderate the site, and that it's just one example of the growing disconnect between Stack Exchange and its overall community.
Not even SO -- there is already an AI stack exchange. Which I guess is more oriented towards implementers than end users, but still might not be a terrible idea to have those communities overlap.
