I also thought this related to managing pot/po files

Oh, I really didn't expect the name I casually came up with to have such ambiguity.
A question (that also applies to oh so many other projects): you never thought about what happens when someone searches for your tool? (the other way around is problematic too ofc)

What is up with all these project / product names these days? Just this week i saw someone decided to label theirs 'June'. Yes, GOOD move.

Are people just using a random word suggester for the past decade?

I read the name and description and thought it had something to do with .po (gettext) files but it's not even that...
To be honest, I'm not good at naming things. "Pot" is just an abbreviation of a few words. At first, I even thought about calling it "top", but there's a well-known Linux software called "top". So now I call it "pot". Do you have any good naming suggestions?
The Mac (Apple Silicon, what you call aarch64) version does not run: "pot is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash."
This is because my app is not signed, and Apple's developer account is a little expensive for me.You just need to click the Cancel button, then go to the Settings -> Privacy and Security page, click the Still Open button, and then click the Open button in the pop-up window. After that, there will be no more pop-up warnings when opening Pot.

If you cannot find the above options in Privacy & Security, or get error prompts such as broken files with Apple Silicon machines. Open Terminal.app and enter the following command (you may need to enter a password halfway through), then restart Pot:

sudo xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/pot.app

> "a [] software"

I hope your translator didn't come up with that.

Yeah we write "a(n) [] AI" now.
Hmm... Not sure you want to be flaunting star growth charts like these in the light of yesterday's post about buying github stars.

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pot-app/.github/master/pot...

Hmmm, Indeed, this kind of growth charts doesn't look very good, but there's nothing I can do about it. A while ago, a major software sharing website recommended my software, which caused a rapid increase in stars during that period. However, after that period of time passed, the growth rate slowed down. But it doesn't matter because this charts is only used to record the trend of stars and it doesn't indicate anything significant. I have no intention of using it to flaunting.
I guess what I'm saying is that these charts makes your project look more suspicious because that growth is weird-looking. You may or may not be legitimately acquiring these github stars, I can't tell, but whether or not you are, you may want to remove the chart from the page because it raises a lot of questions.
Okay, thank you for your suggestion. I will delete it and fill the readme with some useful content.
What is the purpose of showing the charts?
I just thought that the charts in this project look good. I also used similar charts on my GitHub profile. Now I realize the problem with doing so. In the future, I will write some useful information in the readme instead of using such a chart.
This is super cool, congrats on the launch. Have you considered sharing to Product Hunt?
I've already posted it on Product Hunt.

Here: https://www.producthunt.com/products/pot/reviews/new

That would have been interesting if it supported a local translation engine.

Also, it's missing easily findable screenshots of the desktop version, and a list of features. Is it something that only accesses translation APIs?

Yes, I am just creating a user-friendly collection.I have plans to add OCR and screenshot translation functions in the future.

I was slightly disappointed this wasn't binary translation (a la Apple's Rosetta) given "cross platform" in the title
Congrats on the launch. Am I missing a button or is the website wasn't translated?
I haven't had a chance to internationalize the site yet, but I just finished writing the full English Readme.
If you have any questions, you can join the Telegram group to discuss. I just created an English topic.
