That forms a fashion connection or memory to the (maybe) danish noble/upper class people in the portrait in the story.

Wow. The ages would appear to match for that being the same kid too.

1624 for your one, 1626 for the later one.

Similar but not the same ring and earring. Different bracelet.

I noticed that too, looks like the woman portrait was sold at Christies on 2014. https://www.christies.com/lot/cornelis-de-vos-hulst-c-1584-1... And the provenance says the painting has been in the present owner's family since 19th century, maybe there is some clue on the family.
