I had a chance to see some of these robots in action recently (including the table cleaning one shown in the article). It is no doubt very impressive tech, but it was also pretty clear that they are at minimum years away from any real world application. And after that you still have to sort out issues with cost, maintenance, liability and a mile long list of edge cases.
