Looks impressive but:

- Taking into account the manufacturing of the item, plus pods and filters, I’m skeptical that a composter of this size will reduce anyone’s carbon footprint

- It’s $500 for the base model. I could just buy a lot of dirt for that money

- Only the most expensive model comes with a 3 year warranty.
