Show HN: GitImage – Version Control for Images

Hello, we just release a beta version of GitImage - a way to version control images/photos, but with very git-like qualities (but not actually using git itself).

The webapp is built in React, while the core library powering it is written in Rust. The initial idea was to also release the core library as a standalone cli-tool for images (which we still might).

Hope to validate that this would be something useful for photographers, marketers and artists.

As a programmer, I appreciate the incorporation of Git-like qualities into GitImage. While Git is a familiar tool for those in the tech industry, it may be worth considering using a different analogy to better appeal to photographers, marketers, etc. This could make the product more accessible and appealing to a wider audience.
