I'm surprised that no one talked about Thread going out of business. Thread.com was once selected by Y Combinator as one of the 20 most promising startups. They raised £2 million on crowdfunding platform Crowdcube in 2018. It had the goal to provide a personalised shopping service by combining AI with a personal styling service. This week Kieran & Ben announced that they sold their AI, data and developers to M&S and the rest went into administration. The website says that if you placed the order, you should do a Chargeback through credit card. Is AI not ready for the fashion industry? Did you use Thread? If yes, what was your experience?
