... and this one person coding is forbidden to provide a portal for noscript/basic (x)html browsers...
Since you don't pay money to use Twitter, you pay with your privacy instead, and supporting noscript or basic HTML would prevent them from collecting that payment.
Well, for other disciplines the situation is very similar.
