This is a really interesting concept. I can't read the article (paywall), but maybe some others can explain the pros/cons for employees/InstaCart/early-investors/IPO-investors to me?
It provides employees common stock liquidity at a potential price improvement via the public markets versus a private secondary sale that might have a more muted valuation due to the fundamentals and macro condition.
