This is amazing, some of the images have an incredible sci-fi feeling to them. Current link doesn't show all of the photos, the photographer's website has some more : https://www.charlesbrooks.info/
On author's Instagram https://www.instagram.com/charlescellist/ there's a new (not featured on the website) photo of Kawai Grand Piano that looks like a corridor on a space station. Absolutely amazing.
He posted an even better violin picture on Reddit yesterday:

Thanks, and as a bonus you get to know which instrument belongs to each photograph!
For me, the most impressive part of these pictures is the use of lighting. The play of lights and shadows reproduces the volumes in such a way that one feels immersed, embedded in a vast chamber that is in reality only a few centimeters wide. The cello example is exceptional in that regard.

Edit: it's a cello [1]

The picture of the internals of a didgeridoo is out of this world, fascinating...
An unplayed didgeridoo would also be pretty fascinating, as they tend to fill with spiderwebs.
This is one of those: who did not anyone think about this before!
Does anyone know how he managed to keep such a large distance in focus, despite being in macro range? I suppose those are several pictures stitched together somehow?
Yes, "Focus stacking" is the technical term. From the photographers website: "When we see closeup macro shots like this we expect them to have a narrow depth of field. By combing hundreds of shots with varying focus I make sure that the entire instrument is sharp from from to back."
If a room was built in the shape of a violin, how would the acoustics be inside that room? Is there something special about the shape?
Wow this is a stunning look in a different way, I can only imagine all the strange beauty in old arch top guitars.

Also totally agree on the expertise in the lighting. Makes them vibrant and feel lively like caught in a break in the action. Would love to see if he could do time lapse too that’d be neat too. What an artist.

That violin looks like someone's empty attic. I can almost smell it.
They can honestly smell pretty similar, wood and dust.
I've been inside violins a time or two, and removed a sizable mouse nest from an old French fiddle with a chewed F-hole.
There are photos with captions at [1].

Very pretty, those macro images inside music instruments. Would be fun to see 'internal' videos while those instruments are being used.
Now I dream of living inside a violin.
I wish I could get this guy to take a great photo inside my viola for me!
