Lockdowns & vaccine mandates are probably going to make a comeback when the "seasonal d-vitamin deficiency flu" crawls over the northern hemisphere.

What parts of the UK are still under lockdown at the moment for such a large death count to be occurring? In the US, Covid is last year's news. Covid is still present, and results in a spectrum of nothing, cold, bad cold/flu and "damn, that's not good". The Health system is trying to recover from being overworked and underfunded which might also be a cause.
