Blake Masters pushes immigration conspiracy theory (nytimes.com)

I thought the decision to bring up the idea of jews as shadowy puppet masters and then note that Blake didn't actually talk about them as such was crass.

Anyway, is it really newsworthy that a republican in 2022 thinks that democrats aren't interested in securing the southern border of the US and that illegal immigrants over that border are more likely to vote blue than red?

illegal immigrants are more likely to vote blue than red

Illegal immigrants can't vote. What am I missing here?

Sorry, I was imprecise. I meant the naturalized children of illegal immigrants.
Actually, Masters himself specifically says that the illegal immigrants themselves are seen by Democrats as future voters (whether he means by illegal voting, future normalization, or what is less clear, but he very clearly is not talking about their children—who, if born here, would be natural born citizens, and otherwise would be immigrants, legal or otherwise, themselves.)
Sure, I know. I still don't think this is remarkable, given the general belief amongst a not small number of republicans that the election was stolen in some way. The last president has openly said so, after all.

Ideas about people being bussed around to vote multiple times, about the dead voting, etc. seem part and parcel with this thinking.

I would think that some mechanism to identify voters would nip this problem in the bud, but there continues to be no appetite for it amongst democrats, so there's that.

Given that the us has always been an aim of immigrants (conquered by, build up by, and may be will be ruined by, too), they have way to much inhabitants that have the opposite way of thinking. I'm glad not to discuss this topics with a so "native" white knight on a white horse rep like mr. Masters.
Masters views have (assuming his various presentations have all been honest, which is perhaps unwarranted, especially given the strategic convenience of his current Trumpist views) evolved rather radically:
