Not sure if I read this exact article but read another post on this topic yesterday. This is pretty goofy (and has its elements of cool). I’m not sure it’s really that novel other than the shock factor? Machines like backhoes already use hydraulic lines for actuation (yes it’s very cool spider legs actuate in a similar way).
I don’t know, am not in research myself (but my SO studies fruit flies).
Just everything about the title here “necro”, “reincarnated”, “robot” just seems sensational when the setup seems pretty straightforward.
