At the start of the year I became a full time developer advocate.

Being new to the industry, I have been spending a not insignificant amount of time keeping up with industry news. Looking for inspiration, competitor insight, helpful resources etc.

So in true hacker style I spent a weekend automating that process and created a news aggregation site.

Its been really helpful for me the last few weeks so I thought it would share it here so others might get some use.

Where do you aggregate news from? Twitter, HN, Reddit?

Thanks so much.

Yep a few different sources including HN if the article has enough points. Also a bunch of industry niche blogs.

There’s also a little machine learning in there that aims to identify high quality relevant stories. I use this mainly with the Google news stories as they can sometime be a bit irrelevant.
