Uh, the post seems like an empty shell (or maybe start of a neat idea/project?). Most of it is an introduction to Cpt Future. The only things substantial I took away from it is how they want to put a RPi with some modules on a bike. Nothing about software/stack/status. Then two sentences about "base stations", no idea what they're used for (doesn't seem to be important), but what seems to be important is that these are RPis hosted at the micro colocation service the author happens to have cofounded. Excuse me, but if placing that link was the actual intention of the post, why not just link to the service itself?

//edit: Don't get me wrong, this could a genuine project. But it doesn't really feel like it is; seems more like astroturfing. And while the colocation service seems like a really nice offer, I have to say: Sorry, this taints it for me. But that's just my opinion... Maybe there will be an awesome follow-up with lots of details :)

Thanx for your comment. Yes, it is the start, only an introduction as mentioned by croes. I will ad a lot about the stack in the next weeks.

No, that was not the intention of the post. But the colocation is an important part, because Prof. Simon synchronizes the data during traveling with the Pi's located in this edge data centers. I will also write about this part.

It's the start. At the end you can read:

"Implementation 2022

Hardware, Software, Network, Storage… Coming soon. Stay tuned"

Very interesting. For years now, I have a similar project in the back of my head, with the same Captain Future inspiration - a small flying drone with a speaker box and a personality (voice assistant) basically a flying wisecracking Alexa.

Therefore I'm excited for the next installment of the author's project.

Oh yes! That would be a very cool project and a real flying Prof Simon - Hope to see some uptimes about it :)
