Completely agree with this, as much as these are "fun" they are very bad for accessibility.
In contrast with the increased understanding and use of the "alt"/descriptive text on twitter images its a shame to see the increase of these unicode characters on the platform.
Unfortunately, this way of "styling" the text causes problems, so much so there are solutions to remedy this: https://twitter.com/MathAbuse
