DietPi is a lightweight Debian based Linux distribution for SBCs and server systems but with the option to install desktop environments, too. It ships as minimal image but allows to easily install complete and ready-to-use server software stacks with a set of console/whiptail based shell dialogs and scripts. diepi has always been my go to for like 5? or 8 years now? dang its been a long time. Its an awesome OS to stick on pi's and those SBC boards without the bloatness.
Many thanks for your kind feedback :). First DietPi images were provided via Raspberry Pi forum in summer 2014, as minimal Raspberry Pi images: https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?t=83219. But it started as independent open source project with own website and code on GitHub in 2015. So 8 years are a bit stretched at best, but you are definitely a long time user then, that is awesome!
