At TeachEdison, we work with a lot of SAT prep coaching companies and everyone was waiting for this move from collegeboard and finally it’s here but not sure how they are going to make it work at scale. Anyways it’s a welcome move to go digital.
I'm currious how there is a need to go digital. It doesnt seem like it solves anything and introduces more potential for problems.

The only benefit I can see is; It should be easier to take an online test if you've been studying using online materials/substitutes.

What is the general direction of SAT/ACT and standardized testing in the US? Haven't a lot of universities gone test optional and more so with the pandemic? Is that just a temporary phase or an irreversible trend?
