Hopefully this is a positive for the future of that integration - imo privacy in payments is as important as privacy in messaging.
I do have some sympathy for the argument that payments should be in a different app, however leveraging Signal's userbase to shift people from Paypal/CCs/etc to a private currency seems worth the risk.
