Sadly, I don't think China would care what Taiwan does to itself if it chooses to invade. The goal is the elimination of an irritant, not economic gain.

well, given the ccp's chip plant couldn't work out after $18 billion, I'm pretty sure that they would want every bit of it that they could get.
