That’s pretty interesting. I think there are a lot of analysis mistakes you can make looking at the covid data by assuming every point is up to date and without error. It seems like it would the too hard to model the lagging data so perhaps someone could make a dashboard that predicts the actual deaths on a day given the real time reported deaths and the history.
this isn't a mistake. it took them almost a year to figure out how to make the death numbers look like they were going down no matter what. don't forget, this is the same Florida that fired one of the people in charge of the data, and then sent a fully armed swat team to her house because she tweeted a link they didn't like
