More like Avi Loeb's publishers are still spending money on PR.

I like the idea that there's more to this specific phenomenon than we understand; I'm fully willing to believe that the "science establishment" doesn't support new thinking, etc. I'd really like to see more of that, and less celebrity gossip about this one person.
