I suppose it depends on whether you think a search engine should be organised according to what you think people ought to be searching for, or according to what the numbers tell you they are statistically more likely to be actually searching for. Presumably in the US/global market the majority of actual users understand "Philosophy" to be a brand rather than an academic discipline; with the UK region filter turned on, actual philosophy comes first in the search results.
